Overview:Develop long term external communications strategy (Media Relations and Public Relations) and chart out annual implementation plan in line with the global communications vision and strategy.Align with corporate business strategy and growth aspirations. Lead implementation of the corporate media campaign.Proactively cultivate relationships with tier 1 external media organizations.Drive positive perceptions of the company's Brand and Reputation as well as excellent utilization of media channels and relations to enhance and build the company's reputation and to articulate the company's Corporate Strategic targets & messaging, growth and achievements.Drive/provide integration of media across all regions both within the media and amongst the company's regional communications employees and lead media communications for mega projects, M & A growth projects & divestments, major external business and brand-building events including Chief Executive Officer / Executive Vice President outreach and alignment with other stakeholders.Drive and co-ordinate proactive and Ad-Hoc Media outreach across all regions to increase quality and planning of media output by the company's regional teams.Support crisis communications at a global level and across the regions. Alignment and use of Communications agencies to deliver best practices.Job Purpose & Responsibilities:Ongoing development of the company's Media relations strategy in line with the company's global communications strategy and associated tactical outreach planning alongside other Global Communications CoEs, regional alignment, other stakeholders, agencies and day to day input into strategic direction and planning.Provide specialist strategic communications counsel and relevant external positioning of the company and of the company’s senior executive leadership, including CEO, through presentations face to face and written briefings to leverage opportunities to drive business growth and reputation.Monitor, Track, Analyze and report statistics of the use and effectiveness of the company's media presence and providing actionable insights and recommendations based on the analytics data.Drive the alignment between the company's Regions/ Strategic Business Units / Corporates to ensure the cohesive and improved use of Traditional Media external channels across all regions.Lead focal point for strategic global company projects requiring specialist media, positioning & messaging related leadership and relevant input into all major company events.Collaborate with Corporate and Strategic Business Units business partners and regions, in planning proactive media outreach campaigns.Setting of global standards and guidelines whilst driving global governance and quality control.Drive use of relevant new channels and improvement in using existing channels whilst ensuring relevant use of messaging to create unified messaging output.Maintain and build the company's most important corporate strategic media relationships (tier 1), whilst exploring new relevant trends and practices.Provide specialist relevant communications advice and support for the company's Crisis Management and management of reputational risk.Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a Communications / Journalism / Mass Media related field.Minimum 6 years of experience in media-related position, from a leading PR firm or in the communications function of a reputed organization.Competencies and Skills:Fluent English skills - both oral and written.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to influence higher management.Ability to manage cultural, changing environments.Leadership in driving projects, motivating team & collaboration.Strong analytical skills.Benefits:We offer a competitive base salary, because we want to attract the right talent.We also provide allowances in certain markets and for certain jobs.Our bonus scheme and other incentives are structured to reflect your personal contribution and responsibilities.We provide generous health and well-being benefits.
