Department Information The Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgeryand Communication Sciences is dedicated to providing expert clinicalcare in Otology/Neurotology/Skull Base Surgery, Head and Neck CancerTreatment, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Hearing impairment, LaryngologicSurgery, and Pediatric Otolaryngology. The department offersspecialized care in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affectingthe head and neck region. The department has centres of excellencethat deal with specific diseases and therapies such as skull basesurgery, head and neck tumor surgery, cochlear implant surgery, airwayreconstructive surgery, functional endoscopic sinus surgery,otology-neurotology, speech and language pathology, audiology andaural rehabilitation. The department providesstate-of-the-art technology, such as CO2 Laser, Operating Microscopewith navigation systems, and Audiovisual with 3 dimensional videosystems.
