The site is in a remote area; accommodation is provided at a camp close to the site. The site operates with a roster, and transportation to/from the site is provided by Metso. The work contract will be fixed for a 2-year period, with the possibility of extension.Job PurposeThe purpose of the job is to be a part of the site production team, participating in daily production activities and developing quality and performance to achieve targets. You will be part of the production team and expected to take professional responsibility as you gain experience at the site. Work will include tasks typical to a greenfield site where team members need to be trained and coached to operate and develop processes. As a team member, you shall contribute to developing these processes.As work will be in an isolated location, we expect the candidate to have previous experience of similar types of work and to be able to work with a team on customer sites together with customer crews.ResponsibilitiesWorks as a process engineer for daily production of the gold processing plant.Manage daily operations of the plant to achieve/exceed specified production, cost, and safety targets.Responsible for ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company policy.Analyze plant and equipment performance and ensure implementation of corrective actions.Recognize and take action to prevent breakdowns, improve productivity, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).Provide effective coordination, technical support, and supervision of all shift metallurgical personnel.Contribute to the cost-efficiency of plant operations by monitoring stock usage and consumables.Run and develop improvement teams to identify root causes for equipment failures.Utilize EAM & MES data to monitor performance of maintenance on equipment.Ensure compliance with statutory and other regulations as required by law.Motivate personnel to achieve sustained high levels of performance and ensure all metallurgical department personnel are appropriately trained and have access to adequate career development opportunities.Basic RequirementsExcellent service attitude and strong customer service focus.Proactive safety mindset.Some experience in process plant operation and problem-solving skills.Understanding of Metso as a company, basics of offering, and processes.Technical competence; Qualification in Metallurgy, Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.At least two (2) years of relevant experience in metallurgical/mineral processing plants.Ability to motivate and lead others.Good communication skills.Good English skills (written and spoken).Collaboration and StakeholdersCooperation with all stakeholders at the site.Cooperation with all stakeholders in the market area.Customer representatives, officials, and associations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
