Job Responsibilities:Daily inspection of site works, making sure that execution is being done according to approved shop drawings and approved materials. Review the shop drawings, structural drawings, reports, specifications, and materials submittals submitted by the Contractor/Subcontractor to ensure completeness, correctness, compliance with the scope of work and requirements. Carry out a constructability review. Ensure that the Contractor/Subcontractor incorporates the comments raised from previous stages. Attend technical meetings with the Contractor's Sub-Contractors and other project management team members. Coordinate with the Document Controller to ensure that all documents related to his discipline are properly controlled. Review and approve product data, samples, inspection and test reports, and other Contractor submittals. Instruct the Contractor/Subcontractor to take samples as required. Prepare lists of defects and issues and check rectification by the Contractor. Ensure that the Contractor's as-built drawings and operations and maintenance manuals are in order.Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill. Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.At least 10 years of experience in a similar role.Registration as a licensed professional engineer is required.Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.Previous experience in STAADPRO, AutoDesk REVIT Structural and AutoCAD Software is highly preferred.Excellent command of written and spoken English.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
