Siemens Logistics is a fully owned subsidiary of Siemens AG. Be part of our team as an Government Relations Officer & Administrator in Riyadh, KSA. You will play a key role in managing work permits, immigration services, license renewal, GOSI, government relations, and external communications, with extensive knowledge of local regulations and procedures. What are my responsibilities? Government Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact to coordinate and support the company around all government relations with the various government departments and agencies in Saudi Arabia. This includes but is not limited to handling all communications, submissions, and follow-ups related to regulatory and compliance matters. Represents the company during government inspections, audits, or inquiries and provides support on behalf of the company. Visa and Work Permits: Manage the new visa processing, renewals, delegation, local Iqama transfer, and cancellation of visas and work permits for employees, ensuring compliance with Saudi labour laws and immigration regulations. Handle employee queries related to visa, labour or passport matters. Government Payments and Transactions: Handle payments, fees, and financial transactions related to government services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. License and Permit Management: Help obtain and renew business licenses, permits, and approvals from relevant government bodies. Compliance, Policy and Procedure Monitoring: Monitor regulatory changes and updates to ensure the company adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies and advise on adjustments when necessary. Payroll, End of Service and Audit: Prepare relevant documents for Payroll, including bank requirements. Submit the WPS file through MUDAD. Ensure family benefit reimbursement documents are relevant and in line with company policy. Support employees in completing the exit process. Support internal/external audits and inspections from governmental authorities. Communication: Manage internal communications, ensuring timely responses and maintaining professionalism. This includes internal announcements, publications, and stakeholder communications. Administration Support and Medical Insurance: Point of contact for KSA and responsible for directing all requests to the concerned within the team. Manage registration and cancellation for medical insurance for all employees and family members. Prepare all payment authorizations, salary certificates, circulars, general letters, and visit invitation letters. Document Attestation, Legalization, and Record-Keeping: Oversee the attestation and legalization of company documents, certificates, and other paperwork required by Saudi authorities. Maintain organized records and documentation related to government interactions, permits, licenses, and compliance activities (e.g., CR, Saudization, GOSI, etc.). What do I need to qualify for the role? Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, business administration, or related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a PRO or in a similar role in KSA in a multinational environment. In-depth knowledge of KSA's legal and regulatory environment, including labour laws, immigration procedures, GOSI Systems, and business licensing requirements. Hands-on experience with government portals and online systems for visa and immigration services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with government officials, employees, and external stakeholders. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency in Arabic and English languages (written and spoken).
