We’re 5 minutes from the Eastern Province business hub, and a short drive from Khobar Sea Front promenade or the fashion boutiques of Dhahran Mall.We’re always looking for new ways to raise the bar. So we’re searching for a Sales Manager with a track record of driving sales and smashing targets to help us fill our rooms, meeting suites and banquet halls.A little taste of your day-to-day:Establish client base of individuals, organizations, associations, social, and/or corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts to secure business for the hotel ensuring that catering revenue goals are met or exceeded.Monitors competitor’s activities and assists in marketing intelligence.Activate prospect and qualify new business opportunities.Sells to new, existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business.Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls, meeting with principals of target market.Provides direction on, and conducts market research and analysis.Develops and maintains contact with business partners, meeting and convention planners, travel agents, corporate / government accounts and other producers closely allied to Hotel business.Builds profile within local market place through attendance at various events and getting engaged by calls and visits.Entertain clients at the property to show our service.Monitors existing business and inputs into sales strategy meetings to maximize business.Grows existing business and establishes and pursues leads which will develop business.Interfaces with operations on a timely basis.Initiates and prepares tenders for business- Implement direction from Director of Meetings & Events and the property Sales lead.Weekly reporting indicating the whole week activities progress and the upcoming week plan.What We need from you:Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality ManagementMinimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity in Khobar Hotels with proven track recordsExcellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in both Arabic and English languageWhat you will get?Join us and you’ll become part of the global IHG family – and like all families, all our individual team members share some winning characteristics.
