Role Overview The Consultant/Specialist Oral Dental Surgeon will provide expert surgical care, managing complex oral conditions while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Key Responsibilities Assess patients' oral and maxillofacial conditions through thorough diagnostics, including clinical examinations and imaging. Develop and implement effective surgical treatment plans, utilizing best practices and the latest technologies. Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to tooth extractions, implant placements, and corrective jaw surgeries. Work closely with dental teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and education. Monitor and manage post-operative care and complications to guarantee optimal recovery. Participate in continued education and training to stay current with advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Requirements Dentistry degree with specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Current and valid professional license to practice as a Consultant/Specialist Oral Dental Surgeon. Significant experience with advanced surgical techniques and patient management. Deep understanding of oral anatomy and pathology. Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities. Analytical skills with a focus on detail in treatment planning. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
