The respective physician and Section Head will discuss any discrepancies that might arise to meet a mutual agreement (according to certification and classification) and sign the privileging form before submitting it to the Chairman for final approval. To inform and review all privileges that have been approved by the MCP&PC with the respective physician, updating as necessary.Participate in preparation of the annual report for the Division of Orthopedic Surgery to the Chairman, Department of Surgery.Serve on medical staff committees as directed by the Chairman, Department of Surgery and/or the Executive Director, Medical Services, CR and/or higher authorities.Participate in training and education of junior staff.Attend and participate in all Division of Orthopedic Surgery academic activities.Responsible for the monthly division on call schedule.Encourage members in the Division of Orthopedic Surgery to undertake research activities.Actively involved and participate in the ongoing quality management program.Responsible for submitting approved TRI by the Chairman, to block his clinic or provide approved coverage by completing the clinic blocking form through the proper chain of command and blocking the OR prior to submitting the TRA to the Chairman for final approval.
