Don’t miss your chance, apply today! The position As our Senior Director, Cardiovascular you will be at the heart of Novo Nordisk’s future growth and success. You will define the go-to-market strategy and the right commercial team preparing the organisation for the future launch in cardiovascular diseases and ensuring the portfolio achieves its full potential. Your core responsibilities will be: Assessing the Saudi market potential, generating insights, identify business opportunities and propose strategy for our cardiovascular asset. Lead the overall direction ensuring successfully cardiovascular portfolio launches in KSA, driving analysis, segmentation and market approach, including deliver organisational analysis with recommendations on what efforts and resources are needed across the organisation.  Set the direction to cross functional team working on different elements of the cardiovascular strategy.  In partnership with the relevant internal functions, build relationships with external stakeholders that are key to new launches and support commercialization, ensuring awareness and strong understanding about the therapy area and Novo Nordisk product portfolio in the cardiovascular space. Progressively developing into a functional Business Unit role with multi-layer management exposure opportunity. Qualifications You have a Master’s degree or other relevant academic background in business, economics, natural sciences or pharmacology. More than 10 years of working experience of which more than 7 years spent in a senior commercial capacity within a multinational pharmaceutical firm, specializing in cardiovascular disease (CVD), heart failure (HF), or a comparable therapeutic area. You must have proven track record of working in Early Commercial Strategy, New Product Planning, Customer Value Proposition and Go To Market strategy development. Excellent leadership skills and a good eye for people development are essential. Strong stakeholder management skills and a deep understanding of different functions across the value chain are essential. As a person, you are a natural leader with proven ownership and accountability. You are a strong collaborator and communicator, capable of driving conversations with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at senior level. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrate to be an outside of the box thinker. Finally, you share our passion and determination to improve patients’ lives. About the department In this role, you will report to the GM and Corporate Vice President, Novo Nordisk Saudi Arabia and play a key role in the establishment of the Cardiovascular unit in the country and the region. You will also get to collaborate with a wide range of cross-functional departments at different levels and have exposure to executive stakeholders.
