Education: - Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Law, or a related field. - Advanced degree (Master's) preferred. Experience: - Minimum 10-15 years of experience in construction claims management, contract administration, or a related field. - Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving complex construction claims. - Experience in construction project management, estimating, or engineering is a plus. Skills: - Strong knowledge of construction contracts, laws, and regulations. - Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. - Ability to interpret and apply contractual provisions, industry standards, and legal precedents. - Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to direct and mentor a team of claims professionals. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and claims management software. Certifications/Licenses: - Certified Construction Lawyer (CCL) or similar certification preferred. - Professional Engineer (PE) or other relevant license a plus.
