Job Title: QC Welding Inspector Location: Rabigh, Western Region, Saudi Arabia Experience: Min 5 years Budget: 7000 SAR (basic) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Quality Control (QC) Welding Inspector. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of welding quality and safety for oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding inspection, knowledge of international standards, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Inspection and Testing: Perform detailed inspections of welds on pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, and other structures to ensure they meet project specifications, international codes, and industry standards. Utilize non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques, including ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), magnetic particle testing (MPT), and dye penetrant testing (DPT) to evaluate weld quality. Review and interpret welding procedures, technical drawings, and project specifications to verify compliance with quality standards. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of inspection activities, including detailed reports on weld quality, non-conformance issues, and corrective actions taken. Work closely with project engineers and quality assurance teams to address and resolve quality issues. Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all welding activities adhere to relevant international standards such as ISO 3834, ASME, and API codes, as well as local regulations and company-specific standards. Monitor welding practices to ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry best practices. Training and Support: Provide technical guidance and support to welding teams on quality-related matters. Assist in training and mentoring junior inspectors and welders to enhance skills and knowledge in welding quality. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in welding processes and contribute to the development of improved quality control procedures.
