Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager Bluestar Manpower Consultant, Saudi Arabia The QA/QC Manager shall have demonstrated knowledge and training in the ISO-9000 series international standards. He shall be able to exercise judgment against the criteria of the standards. He shall have a University Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance system activities, of which five (5) years must be in managing quality systems relating to the contract scope of work (oil, gas, petrochemical projects, infrastructure, communication). Job Specification Responsibilities include:Day-to-day management of the Resident QA/QC Manager’s activities.Participation in pre-construction activities, such as schedule development, estimate development, procurement support, development of QA/QC procedures, and key personnel selection.Leading site Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities.Interfacing with Operations, clients, and corporate Quality Assurance/Control staff to ensure quality objectives are met.Site control of the implementation of the ASME and regulatory Quality control system.Implementing project QA/control programs at the site.Reviewing and forwarding all special procedures such as Welding and NDE.Developing special Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures.Providing technical and administrative directions to the field staff.Responsible for performance appraisals, goal setting, training, and quality of those functions under their leadership.Coordinating inspection and test groups.Supervising and managing QA/QC activities in the country to ensure the project Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions support the construction effort in accordance with the schedule and in compliance with project objectives, schedules, specifications, procedures, plans, requirements, and directives.Supervising and auditing subcontractor Quality control.Supervising and auditing internal aspects of environmental safety, material handling and storage, document control, and quality programs.Directing others in the preparation of various weekly, monthly, annual, and job reports.Ensuring client responses and reporting are prompt, accurate, and professional in all forms, verbal and/or written.#J-18808-Ljbffr
