Job Description: Manor Hall International School seeks a highly qualified and passionate AP Biology Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a challenging and stimulating AP Biology curriculum, preparing students for the AP Biology exam, and fostering a deep appreciation for the biological sciences. Key Responsibilities: Teach AP Biology curriculum in a clear, engaging, and effective manner, ensuring students understand complex biological concepts and principles. Develop and implement detailed lesson plans that align with state standards and AP guidelines, incorporating a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Create and grade assessments, including quizzes, tests, lab reports, and projects, to evaluate student progress and prepare them for the AP exam. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students. Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment where students are motivated to learn and respect each other. Offer additional assistance and tutoring to students who require extra help, including after-school support and office hours. Stay current with the latest developments in biology and AP curriculum updates. Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and methodologies. Work collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success. Participate in departmental meetings, and school committees, and contribute to the overall school community. Design and supervise hands-on lab experiments that reinforce theoretical knowledge through practical application, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
