DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Financial reporting, managing operating capital, the accounting function, implementing SOPs, and improving internal financial controls. Managing, recruiting, developing, and supporting the finance team.Collate, prepare, and interpret financial reports.Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.Ensure tax compliance and compliance with statutory regulations.Manage the audit process and ensure financial statements are completed.Manage budgets, conduct variance analysis, identify, and implement cost-cutting and process improvements across the group.Implement, enhance, and oversee internal controls and promote best practices.Liaise with managerial level staff and third-party stakeholders.REQUIREMENTS:5 years’ experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.Experience in managing a team.Tertiary Financial Management / Accounting qualification.Sound understanding of the finance function and a hands-on approach.5 years’ experience on Sage 50 / Pastel Evolution or similar system.Previous experience in the FMCG, Fast Food, or Retail sectors.Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.Strong communication skills.Strong attention to detail and a proven track record.#J-18808-Ljbffr
