Alfa Laval India is looking for a passionate Sales Manager for the Separation (High speed and Decanter Centrifuge) Capital Sales Business of the Food and Water Division in the Middle East&Africa based in Dubai. Who you are As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for formulating and executing a sales strategy for the designated area of responsibility of Alfa Laval Products and Services in accordance with the assigned targets and local sales company/divisional strategy and targets. You will lead, develop, and secure a high-performing sales team in line with the Alfa Laval culture. Job Description Define the business strategy and plan for the assigned area of responsibility according to Central and Local Division Strategy, plan, and targets. Develop the business by driving relevant sales and business development activities to achieve customer loyalty and satisfaction: Market Analysis, Pricing, Visits, Seminars. Forecast sales and budget, monitor progress against objectives and financial targets to identify problem areas for performance improvement. Work proactively and structured with sales and business development to optimize the sales efficiency of the team. Lead the sales team, providing direction and ensuring performance according to the plan and sales process, with a special focus on lead to opportunity and opportunity to quote sub-process. Develop, motivate, and coach direct reports to secure the development of relevant sales and product/application competencies. Identify and nurture talent. Work with regional teams. Qualification&Experience Experience: We are looking for 15+ years of experience, including 5 years in a senior position handling business with P/L responsibility. Experience in handling high-speed separator and decanter applications in food and water products and applications is required. Education: A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is required. A postgraduate degree in Business Administration will be an added advantage. Go-getter, curious mind, dreamer, and strategic mindset team leader are some of the qualities we seek.
