Primary ResponsibilitiesWork with Global Category Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Regional Procurement teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and expand capability of third-party suppliers within the region.Overall responsibility for supplier selection, negotiations, and supplier performance for assigned products.Organize and lead cross-functional team to identify and qualify suppliers through First Article and ensure sustaining processes are in place for long-term success.Prepare Requests for Proposal, analyze bids, and negotiate supplier agreements.Perform and analyze Supplier Risk Assessments in conjunction with our Supplier Lifecycle Management program.Communicate information on market trends and changes to the regulatory environment to Category Management and other stakeholders.Report on cost savings, supplier performance metrics, and hold periodic performance reviews with key suppliers with a focus on continuous improvement.Support local Procurement team to provide assistance as necessary.Education/Qualifications: Education in Procurement or Supply Chain Management in a global, multi-site environment.Experience Required: 3 – 5 years combined experience.Key Competencies & SkillsMust be a legal citizen of Saudi Arabia.Ability to read and translate drawings, material specifications, purchasing documents, and other information necessary to conduct business.Highly proficient with respect to culture and business practices in the region.Must be skilled in project management in a matrix organization with demonstrated leadership ability.Experience with metals, mechanical equipment, hydraulics, and electronics. Oil & Gas industry experience is desirable but not required.Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or similar field.
