Job Description:Lead research projects, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring high-quality and impactful outcomes.Design and conduct experiments, utilizing advanced methodologies and technologies relevant to the polyolefin industry.Analyze and interpret complex data sets, drawing meaningful conclusions and insights for informed decision-making.Provide regular technical support to affiliate companies in terms of quality, process improvements, troubleshooting, and cost reduction.Experience in application development is an added advantage, particularly using PP, EVA, XLPE, PBT, PET, and their compounds.Responsibilities include identifying and developing new applications by working closely with customers and driving innovation with a customer-centric approach.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive interdisciplinary research efforts and achieve organizational objectives.Provide expertise to peers and foster a collaborative and innovative research environment.Contribute to the preparation of research publications, patents, and presentations for internal and external audiences.Qualifications:More than 5 years of research experience with strong knowledge.Proven track record in developing new products and leading application development projects.Conversant in all relevant analytical and material characterization techniques required for product and application development.Possess deep knowledge and practical application of project management approaches and use of other tools used in problem-solving.Excellent communication skills.Ability to lead and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Experience with writing research proposals for grants and securing research funding is a plus.Conversant in IP Management.Education:Minimum master's degree in polymer engineering, chemistry, materials science, or chemical engineering.
