JOB PURPOSE: Drive field sales for Mercedes PC parts and contribute to the achievement of the team’s annual sales target and high customer satisfaction objectives specific to assigned territory and customer base. Achieve individual sales target set for the year by the line manager in order to contribute to team targets and consequently to annual business units revenue target as a whole. Create opportunities to acquire new business and carry out market intelligence activities. Key Accountabilities: Sales: Achieve Sales targets by actively promoting genuine parts and current EM Aftersales offers and campaigns. Conduct field visits, understand customer’s requirements and assess his current situation to establish product need, availability. Collect payments as per set deadlines to ensure payment is received on time and customer credit is minimized. Business Development: Expand and strengthen customer base by maintaining a healthy relationship with existing customers through the best CRM practices advised by the line manager. Approach new ones in the assigned territory/ segment and follow up on the leads provided by the line manager. Conduct market activities (as advised by the line manager) including promotional activities, full product coverage and promote new products. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships to identify customer requirements and assess the potential to increase the parts sales (fleets and Parts Resellers). Ensure customer satisfaction as per our Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) guidelines. Assist in resolving technical issues by coordinating between the customer and CV Aftersales to ensure customer requirements are met timely and efficiently. Market Analysis: Constantly monitor market and update customer database with vehicle population, type, age and utilization of trucks. Monitor main parts competitors in the market (OE, aftermarket, grey import etc.) and update the management on prevailing trends and pricing. Reports: Prepare and submit reports such as weekly plans, activity and results reports those related to issues resolution to the line manager and management review. Job Specific Information: Field Sales Executive will be closely working with Aftersales team, Parts team and fleet customers/part resellers for selling of passenger cars parts. Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred. Experience: 4 years of minimum experience in Sales within the automotive industry preferably from Mercedes Benz.
