From scaffolding to elevators and security systems to air-conditioning, sanitary ware, and facilities management, the Al-Futtaim name spells quality and reliability.The Facilities Mechanical Engineer provides engineering for design, operation, and troubleshooting of the following systems site-wide:Industrial and Office HVAC systemsCleanroom Air SystemsSteam, Heating Water, and Chilled Water SystemsPlumbing SystemsProcess Cooling Water SystemsCompressed Air and Vacuum SystemsResponsibilities include working in a team effort with other engineering disciplines and construction trades to provide detailed designs and specifications for mechanical equipment and systems. This includes both the performance of actual engineering and supervision/coordination of outside consultant resources. Additional responsibilities include:Providing support for cost estimates and analysis of proposed projects.Providing support for the startup of new equipment, ensuring that all equipment will properly interface with other mechanical and electrical systems.Education:Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized college.Experience:3 years of related maintenance work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Technical Skills:Knowledge of all MEP systems, activities, and processes.Behavioral Skills:- Able to work under pressure and collaborate with groups to achieve maximum efficiency.- Self-motivated with skills to motivate others.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.About The Company:Established in the 1930s, the Al-Futtaim Group initially operated as a trading enterprise.
