Our team is dedicated to pushing boundaries and achieving excellence mainly in energy, the environment, food, and the marine industry.Job DescriptionMain responsibility is supporting the MEA Cluster.Provide legal expertise and support in either a specific legal competence area (specialist competence) and/or all fields of business and commercial law (generalist competence area), including commercial contracts, R&D, product liability, M&A, and intellectual property (except for patent and design) through sound commercial, legal, and ethical risk assessments.Proactively partner with and advise management on potential legal matters to maximize business opportunities.Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts; implementing and actively participating in the continuous improvement of related policies and processes, template agreements, and supporting tools.Educating business colleagues in legal competence areas and/or commercial contract, corporate governance, and ethics, and ensuring knowledge sharing within the legal and compliance team.Managing and coordinating disputes and litigations in liaison with external counsels.Keep updated on legislative trends and changes, and support the business to mitigate risks that may affect the business.Substantial travel required within Cluster, in particular to Dubai.Qualification and Experience:We are looking for a qualified lawyer with a Master of Laws (LL.M) and around 7 years of experience from an international group of companies or reputable law firm.To be successful in this role:You have solid experience in the compliance areas and key risk management areas, as well as experience working with general corporate and governance matters.You must be an analytical, solution-oriented, and business-minded person with a high work capacity.You have excellent language skills in English; Arabic is a plus.You have excellent communication skills and a great ability to work in a group.Good understanding of Business Resilience Management (Emergency response, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity Management) is a merit.Profile:You have a high level of integrity and are confident in your competence and decision-making.Trustworthy with strong ethics.Understand the need for balanced security in a business-driven environment.Demonstrated ability to apply strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with an array of internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to create impact and buy-in at all levels of the organization.Sound decision-making ability to translate direction into execution and determination to ensure implementation and follow-through in a global, decentralized matrix organization.Why Alfa Laval?An exciting place to build your career having the opportunity to expand your global network, inside and outside of Alfa Laval, with different nationalities.Excellent learning opportunity to work with our global leaders.We offer you an interesting and challenging position in an international, open, and friendly environment where we help each other to develop and create value for our customers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
