Role overview
We are looking for a Bakery & Pastry Chef who will be responsible for preparing French bakery , designing and decorating cakes, according to customers' specifications and preferences & providing suitable recommendations on cake decorations and designs, and packaging bakery items, managing inventory, ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Main Responsibilities
• Creating and testing new croissant & cake recipes to meet customer demands.
• Designing and decorating croissant & cake according to customer specifications.
• Managing inventory of ingredients and supplies.
• Ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation of the baking area.
• Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts.
• Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
• Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers.
• Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
• Create new dessert recipes, and test new flavours.

Qualifications
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a bakery & Pastry chef within the hospitality and catering industry.
• Must have experience as shift in-charge.
• Proven experience as a pastry chef or baker.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
