Kanad Hospital is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Physician Development Officer to join our team. This role is crucial in fostering strong relationships with community physicians and current staff physicians, with a particular focus on Community-Based Doctors (CBDs). The primary responsibilities include increasing referrals from community physicians, enhancing job satisfaction, and promoting retention among our medical staff. The Physician Development Officer will play a vital role in ensuring that all physicians, especially CBDs, feel like an integral part of the Kanad Hospital team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. Proven experience in physician relations, healthcare administration, or a similar role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in the healthcare industry. Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans. Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management software and other business development tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to increase patient referrals from community physicians. Conduct outreach and build strong, collaborative relationships with community physicians. Organize and participate in community events, meetings, and networking opportunities to promote Kanad Hospital’s services. Physician Relations: Foster positive relationships with current staff physicians, including CBDs and staff physicians. Act as a liaison between physicians and hospital administration to address concerns and improve communication. Implement programs and initiatives that enhance physician engagement and job satisfaction. Retention and Satisfaction: Develop and implement strategies to retain physicians and improve their job satisfaction. Conduct regular meetings and feedback sessions with physicians to understand their needs and concerns. Collaborate with HR and other departments to address any issues that may impact physician retention. Ensure that Community-Based Doctors feel integrated and valued as part of the Kanad Hospital team. Organize team-building activities and professional development opportunities for physicians. Promote a culture of collaboration and support among all medical staff. #J-18808-Ljbffr
