Project Controls ManagerLocation: Saudi ArabiaDuration: PermanentKey Duties:We are currently looking for a Project Controls Manager who can manage the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members. Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures estimating, project risk control, cost control, and scheduling.Support the Project Managers and Manager of Projects with the overall status of the projects/portfolio.Assist in coordinating with other departments task force members related to project planning objectives.Participate in regular progress and coordination meetings with the project staff.Ensure cost reports, control curves and forecasts are prepared and issued in accordance with the project execution strategy.Ensure schedules are prepared and issued in accordance with the project execution strategy.Study and understand all relevant documents and conditions pertaining to the projects.Establish and define project oriented project control procedures and work instructions.Define primary job objectives clearly at project and departmental management levels by highlighting schedule and cost requirements.Organize and direct the activities of the project control team.Ensure the maintenance of both time and cost trend statistics.Monitor and compare both time and cost reports and relating conclusions such that management control action is alerted at the right time.Review overall job status with planning engineers and management and recommend corrective action if necessary.Liaise with other departments at all meetings relative to project operations, to ensure that information affecting the project plan is continually updated.Experience in all aspects of Primavera software package, Microsoft Excel and other project controls software.Build strong relationships with the clients and manage their expectations.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE15+ years of experience is a must.Bachelor/master’s in engineering is a must.Specific experience and demonstrated skill in directing cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management and cost analysis required.Experience with directing, planning, and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis required.Strong leadership skills with the ability to successfully direct and motivate a team inclusive of interacting with client personnel.Advanced knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, and construction projects in the Oil & Gas industry required.Broad knowledge of Project Control Systems including leading schedule processing software, databases and spreadsheet applications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
