JOB INFORMATIONJob Title: Chairman PediatricsSHORT DESCRIPTIONAn excellent opportunity to join as Chairman Pediatrics for one of the most prestigious and top tier leading hospitals in Al Taef, Saudi Arabia.JOB SUMMARYLeads the department in accordance with the vision, mission, strategic priorities, goals, and objectives of KFSH&RC. Accountable to the Executive Director - Medical and Clinical Affairs for effective operations and management of allocated resources of the department. Plans, submits, and monitors the operational budget of the department. Manages departmental processes, performance, quality, education, and research, in order to provide effective service in accordance with medical staff bylaws, and the hospital's policies and procedures. Serves as an advocate of the department's interests. Has a half-time clinical load compared to that of a Consultant in his specialty.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvides high-quality pediatric care to patients in this area of medicine.Provides consultative service as requested.Supervises fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities.Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.Performs special procedures as privileged.Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.Performs other related duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducationGraduate from a medical school of good standing.Completion of required period of training in specialty and/or subspecialty.Saudi Arabian or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required.A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.Dataflow is a must.Professional ExperienceMinimum 3-4 years post Board/Fellowship in specialty.A registered member of the Saudi Board Council.LanguageProficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.ReferencesPositive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.#J-18808-Ljbffr
