We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Engineer with specialized expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have specialized expertise in mechanical engineering and a proven track record of successfully managing and executing capital projects within the Oil & Gas/Petrochemicals industries.Key Responsibilities:Take ownership of all phases of assigned projects, from initial planning, budgeting, engineering, construction, commissioning, and project closure.Develop comprehensive project ITB, defining work scopes, scheduling requirements, resource needs, and risk mitigation strategies to facilitate successful project execution.Prepare detailed estimates for funding appropriation and approval, using analytical skills and industry knowledge & best practices for forecast project costs and resource allocations.Execute capital projects according to defined scope, schedule, and budget. Proactively identifying and addressing potential challenges to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.Lead project development activities, including engineering studies, licensors selection, technical bid reviews, FEED, detailed design, materials procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and closeout.Act as a problem-solver, promptly resolving project issues and escalating critical issues as needed to minimize disruptions and ensure project continuity.Generate comprehensive progress reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for project and departmental performance evaluation, tracking key performance indicators and milestones to monitor project status and identify areas for improvement.Collaborate closely with stakeholders to facilitate timely review and approval of project deliverables and documents throughout the project lifecycle.Maintain accurate and up-to-date job records for all assigned projects, ensuring documentation integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.10 years of experience in managing and executing capital projects in the O&G/Petrochemicals industries, including at least 4 years in Mechanical Design and Engineering.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders at all levels.Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.Knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and safety standards related to project management and engineering in the O&G, Chemical and Petrochemicals industries.#J-18808-Ljbffr
