Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE Salary: 6000 to 8000 AED Job Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with both local and international accounting standards. General Ledger Management: Oversee and manage the general ledger, including monthly and yearly closing processes. Accounts Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other critical financial accounts. Budgeting&Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances, and offering recommendations to improve financial performance. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all UAE tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax filings. Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors when necessary. Internal Controls: Develop and enforce internal control procedures to protect company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring the team meets all deadlines and quality standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred. Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws, including VAT. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
